Delivery crew & Engineer.

During the days prior to departure, we carried out exhaustive checks and adjustments.

After a couple more tests and refuelling, we feel ready to leave Portisco (Italy).

One sunny summer morning, we released our moorings heading north.

After placid navigation between the archipelago of La Magdalena, upon reaching the Strait of Bonifacio an unpleasant climate reached us. We spent that cold and windy night on watch duty in the lee of a rock.

At dawn, in safer conditions, we resume the way.

Due to fate, once again we were forced to take refuge from the storms that characterize this sea route. The picturesque town of Stintino retained the same beauty as in previous landfalls.

Finally, after an intense and exciting experience, soft and warm winds finally accompanied us until our arrival in Palma.

After a few days of work onboard after sailing, I rejoined onboard Ocean Phoenix to continue with the charter agenda.

An adventure full of unforgettable moments that brought together both crew and shipowners enjoying life at sea.

Whether due to physical wear or the delicious aroma of food, those pasta dishes that I repeated over and over again, I remember as one of the best delicacies I have ever tasted.

Prepared by our beloved shipowner with me, his faithful kitchen assistant.
